Who we are
GD Verhuisbedrijf, based in Sneek, is responsible for processing personal data as described in this privacy statement. If you have any questions about this, contact us at mail@gdverhuizen.nl.
What data we process
We only process data you give us yourself, for example through the free moving check, the contact form, WhatsApp, email or phone:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- the address of your current home and your new home;
- details about the move, such as the type of home, the floor, what needs to move and your preferred date;
- anything else you tell us yourself in a message.
What we use it for
- to send you a price and a proposed schedule;
- to contact you about your question or your move;
- to carry out the move;
- for our accounts, such as invoices.
We do not use your data for any other purpose and we never sell it to anyone.
Looking up your address in the moving check
If you enter a postcode and house number in the moving check, we look up the address and basic details of the property in the public registers of the Kadaster (Dutch Land Registry) through PDOK. We only send the postcode and house number for this, no name or other details.
How long we keep data
We do not keep your data longer than necessary. If the move does not go ahead, we delete your request within a year. We keep data linked to an invoice for seven years, because the law requires us to.
Who we share data with
We only share your data when it is needed to provide our service, for example with the company that hosts our website and email. We have agreements with them about keeping your data secure.
Cookies and external services
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded through Google Fonts and Fontshare; these services see your IP address, as with any website you visit.
Your rights
You have the right to view your data, have it corrected or have it deleted. You can also object to its use. Send an email to mail@gdverhuizen.nl and we will respond within four weeks.
If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch Data Protection Authority).
Security
We take appropriate measures to protect your data. The website uses a secure connection (https). If you think something is not right, please let us know.
